Movement Class-Led by the OT Team, students participate in sports related skills and flexibility exercises to improve their awareness of body strength and endurance, develop sensory integration skills (balancing and hand & eye coordination) and spatial awareness (how are bodies move and interact in the physical space around us). By engaging in these activities, our students can increase their confidence and self-esteem, and decrease their anxiety and stress while working on personal goals. They also learn the importance of team work!
Spanish Class-Facilitated by our lead teacher, Michelle Peters, the new Spanish Class is a basic introduction to vocabulary, grammar and verb conjugations, as well as an introduction to the various Spanish cultures where the language originated and flourished.
